iPhone 5 launch

And after seeing Loop s S3 last night, I like that too (despite being about the same size as a solar panel ;) )

Tom

Love how phones went from being huge, to the smallest possible, to the biggest possible (without looking stupid) again.

Out of 4 pairs of jeans i own, it only fits in 2 of them. Damn small pockets.

So tell me. What do you do on your mobile that you can't do on an iPhone? Yes apple govern certain aspects of the mobile. Especially what can be installed however they do so for many good reasons. So other than cosmetically altering the OS to make it pretty what do you do differently?

Anyway back on to the iphone 5. My opinion on this is simple. Call me what you want but I thoroughly enjoy being an Apple customer. And preordered mine the moment it came online. I think it's everything I want. Other than NFC which ive never used . And my debit cards been able to do it for close to two years? And wireless charging, which isn't something I craved, yeh it could be usefull. But who doesnt have the habbit of putting your phone on charge as you go to sleep? what else is there that it doesn't have? There we go then. I have everything necessary for my life technologically speaking. Also with my being a customer with them for so long, it means I have a brilliant catalogue of films, books, movies, and most of all Apps. That I transfer and copy between all my iOS devices both old and new at the push of a button using iCloud. But of course android fans have to rip in and be overly hateful to users that do like them? Which is wrong!..

...Oh wait I forgot Android is much more functional though right so android users are allowed to take the ****? Yeh that's right I can't have a weather widget on my home screen to see the weather? What a crying shame? Oh I wanna put a pretty link to YouTube and my Facebook all over this home screen? Man my life must suck because I can't do that right? No. I can do anything an Android user can do. In many cases faster and more efficiently. I just don't need a big flashing Homescreen telling me a joke of the day, or what my horoscope is.

And the one thing that really grinds my gears is people saying Apple products are expensive? I've had an iPhone 4 for 2 and a half years. Initially yes it was dear. But it lasted me. Android users change there devices every other bloody month. I guarantee if you calculated an Android users spending over two years against an iPhone user it would be more expensive.

To finish this rant off. Enjoy your Android. I'm glad you do. Just don't be a cock and think your anything better. I don't see myself as better than anyone because I use an iPhone. So why is it ok to sit there and slate others? Just because you have an android? Get off your high horses. Because its pathetic.

I was going to reply to each point but I really cannot be bothered. Mainly due to and not including:-

A.) My time is more valuable, and I really cannot be bothered.
B.) Once a brainwashed apple fag always a brainwashed apple fag. They could put in the terms and conditions that you must never wear clothing EVER AGAIN and you idiots would accept and carry on in ignorance.
C.) You called me a cock (slightly uncalled for tbh hence my comment in #2).

Enjoy your over priced, under featured locked down piece of apple turd (y). I'm sure you'll line up with all the other sheep to buy what ever they release next.

Ive seen it locked down on an Android phone.

No it isn't. ONLY if the carrier has customized the source code and installed a custom version on the device. This is normally overcome in 10minutes by someone with minimum IT knowledge and the capability to use Google.

This IMO is the biggest downfall of android, with it being open source every man and his dog (including ass**** cellular providers) can diddle with your settings before you even turn the device on .

Don't get me started on the massive variation of GUI's between manufacturers :bang:

yes, which is why ive seen it locked down on an android phone. same as iOS. Its only locked down if the carrier locks it down.

As for wireless charging, your argument is invalid and ridiculous. Did people say the same when colour screens, touchscreens, 3g, LTE and every other feature came along? No, because they're useful and they make life easier.

Its a wireless charging case option that already exists for apple. :p They have been around since nokia were still trying to faff about with Symbian.
It was a gimmick when it first came out as it is now. Nobody gave a crap about it then and the only reason people care now is because there precious phone is going to do it but the iphone isnt (although it is). They wont get up every day and think "Oh wow i left my phone on this great big charging board and it charged" People wont want to carry all that **** around with them every where they go and wait for an inneficient charging system to take 2 hours to charge their phone. They will be like "i wish i had the super fast Lightning dock that charges a phone in 30 mins."

Bigest Contender for me atm is the Galaxy Note 2. I dont own any PC's though so not sure how compatible/useful it will be.
I have a feeling because I only use Mac computers that the Iphone will benefit me in every single way.

I've used Blackberry's, Samsung's, HTC's all on a Mac. Never had a problem with importing/exporting files and images. I've only had bluetooth problems with the Blackberry because, well, they're crap.

With most phones anything you need to download/update/use on a PC or Mac is generally available for a phone anyway. If you integrate your e-mails to the phone you don't even need to connect it to your computer because you can just send everything to yourself (Images, URLs, Files, Videos)

The biggest issue is Music. I have all of it in Itunes (albeit in WAV format) There is no filing system for anything other than apple devices.
Then there is connection issues. My car where I normally need the Ipod feature makes it very easy. I cant see it being any good with an Android unit unless android phones have an output that can be converted to Toslink?

Aren't you some sort of admin/ moderator on these forums? You really need to look at how you speak. Its greatly offensive. And not to me cuz I couldn't give a ****. But use of the word fag as an insult is incredibly wrong. And you also do deserve it. Your attitude to people and there choices is incredibly biased. If you don't agree with it then it must be wrong? Like I said you obviously sit astride a high horse and find yourself greater than me and many other people on this forum. :worship:
