Hello All.
Well after some years of looking over the fence I have taken the plunge and bought a Panda 4x4 with the 1.2 petrol engine, late '05 vintage.
My immediate issue is that the interior lamp only works manually - in other words it is off or on. The middle position (which is supposedly the door operated position) it is just alight permanently. It does not turn off if you start the engine, nor if you wait a while (I read in the handbook that there is a delay).
I thought I would check the door switches but when I looked, where I would expect to find door switches there are just what seem to be black plastic blanking plugs. I cannot believe that Fiat would supply this otherwise well equipped small car without a door operated interior lamp so am I looking in the wrong place, and does anybody know how I can correct the problem?
All help appreciated.
Thanks.
Martin.
