Ragazzi,

Unless the post office turn up my original instruments (which have gone AWOL on the way to the menders and are probably fitted to a Dutch registered Opel Corsa right now.. :D ) I'll need to fit a new instrument console.

Luckily I have a spare console... which again only partially works. :D

However, if I fit it I will need a poxy alignment (I think that's right) since the mileage flashes at me... The mileage also needs correcting as it's a bit shy of where the car is and I'd rather have the correct mileage showing.

If I'm going to get the console repaired/mileage reset... should I poxy it before or after? I'm guessing it doesn't matter.. so "afterwards" would make the most sense (in case the console can't be fixed).. but could the poxy upset the expensively repaired/rest clocks?

Who could do it for me - in the land that time forgot (South Glocs. area?)

Failing that.. is it DIY with the cables and Multiscan software? Do I need a particular set / type of cable (linky?)

Ta.

i can adjust the mileage to the correct value for free during the repair , that's no problem...
The Proxy Alignment has to be performed after the repair to ensure the proper programming. (can be done with FES/MES and will not upset the repair)
Better send the part with tracking option this time to avoid loosing the replacement part too....
