Hi All!

I have a broken LCD display (the screen within the instrument cluster showing mileage, errors, etc..).

I have managed to dismantle everything and managed to remove the LCD screen itself as you can see in the attached images. I though I would find some part number for the screen only but with no success. Do you guys know where I can buy just the screen please?

Also, if I change only the screen and not the whole instrument cluster, do I still need to align the PROXI?

Really looking forward to some feedback! Appreciated.

Mark

Wow you've been busy (y).

The guy on here for part numbers is Davren, like here .... https://www.fiatforum.com/threads/stilo-horn.494956/

Unfortunately for most of us a broken Instrument cluster would mean at best finding a working one in a wrecked car, or maybe off of eBay. In the worse case it would end up getting rid of the car entirely. Even with current elevated used car prices, Stilo's don't sell for much, and if there's difficult work to be done they are more likely broken up than repaired .

The LCD display is not available from Fiat separately, so there will be no Fiat part number for it.

If you are able to find and fit a replacement LCD screen to the existing cluster, you will not need to carry out the Proxy Alignment procedure.

If you get a replacement cluster, get one with a similar or lower mileage to your existing one. (Mileage can only be adjusted upwards). A replacement cluster will need the Proxy Alignment procedure.

What's the issue with 'Proxy Alignment' ?, it needs special tools, only main dealer, not quick online fix ???
