Hello

I wanted to get android auto in my Panda from 2009, i have bought a Alpine ILX-f903d headunit, my car already has an aftermarked pioneer headunit.

Iam trying to find infomation on some signals it will need

i need to find

1. reverse signal

2. Parking Break signal

3. Speed puls line

Iam wondering if anyone has some good info on these or if i should just fake the 2 signals and but a can2 speed puls line.

Might be different this is for a right hand drive

Reversing switch goes to Pin 1 BODY COMPUTER (FRONT)
Brake switch goes to Pin 6 FRONT/DASHBOARD COUPLING

I can't remember off the top of my head which wire it is, but there is a dedicated "speed" wire from the BCM.

On the original stereo there was supposed to be a wire that was related to speed as it adjusted the volume depending on speed..... however it's not a true speed pulse wire.

I wired up cruise control in mine using the wire from the BCM as that gives true speed.

I'll try and have a look at the wiring diagrams when I go back to work on Monday and see which wire it is.

The body computer node, via the B-CAN, also sends:

the vehicle speed signal, for the management of the speedometer indicator;
the signal coming from the fuel pump N040, for managing the fuel gauge;
the signal coming from the switch I040, for displaying the 'handbrake on' warning light;
the signal coming from the sensor K025, for displaying the 'low brake fluid level' warning light;
The engine management control unit M010 communicates to the body computer node, via the C-CAN, the signals supplied by the engine rpm sensor K046 and the water temperature sensor K036. These signals are then sent to the instrument panel E050, for managing the rev counter and water temperature gauge.
