Just purchased a 1.9 JTD Dynamic 56 plate from an independent garage in Bristol. 66000 on the clock so asked for a new cambelt and water pump to be fitted which was duly done plus new MOT.
Drove back from Bristol to Cheltenham without issue, just as I came off the motorway, Warning "Low Break Fluid Level" red light came on with the message " Stop the vehicle immediately", pulled over in lay-by checked the fluid level, all looked ok at max level. No obvious signs of fault. Breaks working ok, continued journey home fault showed another x4 times. Cause ?? any one.
Then later that afternoon the " Injection System Failure" orange engine symbol came on and stayed on. There was no obvious loss of power and the engine ticks over ok and drives ok.
Should I be overly concerned about this, I need to take it back to the dealer for investigation, should I drive it back or get it towed, Any advice on this.
