Hi all

Took delivery of a 08 plate Grande Punto Eleganza 1.4 5 dr yesterday and I am over the moon with it.

I have been reading the forum for several weeks now and been feeling quite apprehensive with regards to my phone and Blue&Me, but can I inform all those that have the Sony Ericsson w850i it works a treat, as soon as I got in the car it requested pairing asked my phone for permission and that was it. “I will also mention that I had a Bluetooth head set on at the time”

That was the advice now the questions?

1) I don’t want the Media Player coming on as soon as I get in the car I want to be able to voice control it on entry and exit is this possible?​

2) How can I turn down the Blue&Me, as it booms out when I give it a task and I would like to turn it down, would this also control the incoming / outgoing phone vol?​

3) What size max pen drive / flash drive would you recommend, I was thinking of buying a 4gb?​

I have a couple more questions but I wont be greedy, and the answers to the above will probably help work out the others.

Been asking the same question for ages - don't think its possible to do this independently

I'm using a 4gb which is fine. There have been postings of using 8gb without problem

In reply to question 2 you can turn down the volume using the radio menu, go to "External Volume" and I have mine set on 20 which is just right for both incomming and outgoing calls.

And thanks for the two great replies.

I have the Blue@Me set at 15 great suits me, have also set up a 4gb flash drive / pen drive and with over 60 various albums "I LOVE IT"

When I leave the car I tell Media Player to stop, and then switch off the radio, so that when I get it I can use voice command to chose what I want to listen to, as all albums / tracks are my selection I normally just use the commands "Folders" & then "Play Anything" This is makes a fantastic personal compilation album.

On a light hearted note, when Blue@Me plays back your SMS message it has no normal Microsoft CENSORSHIP and will read out anything that is included in the SMS it is quite funny to hear it read out expletives and strong words from the English vocabulary (Use your imagination)

I turn mine down on my steering wheel what you use to turn down the radio is what turns down when your on a call or whatever or whenever she speaks.
