Induction kits - help

Having purchased a Max power induction kit, which my mate who has a 1.1 saxo has on it that sounds the dogs, i found it almost impossible to fit. I went every where the morning i got it to get it fitted, but the breather pipe that the 1.2 16v bravo's have meant that it wouldnt go straight onto the head of the engine. Now im searching how to fit this beast of an induction kit, and want to know if any of you have any ideas, i need to find a pipe that will fit onto the old pipe!!!! Sounds very confusing, HELP PLEASE!!

An easy way of extending the pipe a bit further so the induction kit will fit into the space for the standard airbox, is to pinch the pipe that comes from your standard cold air feed behind the radiator, and fit that as an extension. Obviously this then means you're without an air feed pipe, so either find a replacement peice of pipe, or run a new air feed.

I've got a green induction kit for my 1.4 i got of ebay cheap a while ago and in the instructions it says to leave the satndard airbox in place removing only the pipe between it and the engine and fitting the induction kit directlyish to the engine there, after reading your response i take it the standard airbox stays there to cold feed the induction kit? I thought it looked starnge in the instructions but makes a bit more sense now.

By airbox I meant air filter. Can't see why you'd leave that in! Leave the standard air feed bits from behind the radiator and replace the filter with the induction kit. Guess you could leave the base bit of the standard filter in place if it helps hold the feed pipe in place

I'm sure the instructions said to leave the whole box in, i'll scan them and put them up to show you what i mean, could be mixed up as well so i'll have another look first.
