Technical indicators not working!! helppp

i have a 2000 reg punto hgt, could anyone please tell me which relays, fuses are to do with the idicators? all the right hand side indicators are working fine but when i indicate left nothing at all happens, no flashing light on dash, no indicators flashing, the stalk moves as should, any help greatly appreciated.

i also have the dreaded diesel noise on startup (only happens when vehicle has been warmed up?)and once the vehicle warms up it has a very lumpy idle and as you drive at around 2000-3000 rpm there is a loud clicking almost tappet noise coming from under the bonnet, could this all be down to the variator being faulty?
any help on any isues much appreciated!!

No I wouldn't think tht would effect the engine at all. 2 different problems there I'm afraid. The clicking isn't the engine knocking is it?

I'd be tempted to say its the stalk thats at fault. A switch on the circuitboard may have broken or something. If one side is working and one isnt, I wouldnt have imagined its the fuse. IIRC, both sides are run off the same fuse.
