Grande Punto immobiliser

Can anyone help? 1.2 punto immobiliser on, done all the usual with battery leads off ect, run fine parked it up in the drive come to put the key in immobiliser on and has been on ever since. Bought a key checker that says the key is transmiting. I know if the coil packs spike then it can damage the ECU but there was no sign of rough running would appreciate any sugestions

Have you tried a direct earth from battery to engine ?

Anymore info ?

There are scenariis where radio frequencies can block the keys chip being read

I had it on the coast on holiday once.. couriers find it as they travel around

But if youve had it 3 years and its just happened that is odd

Not got a fusebox full of water?
