Use any suitable sized crimp connector for a bolt that's solid to the car body and be sure to clean through to bare metal and protect with vaseline. On my HGT I used the OS engine mount bolts but anything will do. Don't forget to clan the main chassis earth contacts between battery and engine.

A madly clicking relay suggests its not contacting properly. If it persists with the new earth you may have another earth fault or a broken lead to the relay closing circuit.

Connect a jump lead from engine to battery negative and see what happens

So I ran a new earth from ECU and got her fired up and running

Can anyone tell me where to find these earths (above plus throttle housing earth) on a Punto 1.2 8v mk2?

Battery -ve lead follow down to chassis and engine.
Wiring loom from throttle body, follow it down and find a wire bolted to engine or car body/chassis.

If the Yellow/orange Key Code Light is on = Immboliser Activated
And your car WONT start - unless you happen to have the key code card, which at that point you can override it and start it
But if you stall or Switch it off, the code will have to input again an again and again

How do you input the code???
