Ok Fiat have decided to create a MK3 Bravo to be released soon. They have put you in charge as chief designer.........What changes would you make to the beloved Bravo to make it just that little bit better??

Re: Re: Imagine Your The Designer!!! (Bit of Fun)

I'd put the Coupe turbo engine in, with the option of traction control, for days when you want to leave the rubber on your tyres.
Also have a bit of a rethink on the choice of materials used in the interior.

Re: Re: Re: Imagine Your The Designer!!! (Bit of Fun)

I'd put this engine in it :)

5.0 V10 Twin Turbo Diesel :)

Better sound system with in dash MP3/tuner.
Have to agree on some updates to the trim...a little bit of AUDI brushed Alu to frame some dials.

Re: Re: Imagine Your The Designer!!! (Bit of Fun)

Let's see...
Smooth off some of the lines (rear quarters) as they damage too easily.
Make the front lights a bit bigger so they become useful in the dark.
Change the rear lights as every body and his dog has copied them, but have to be something unique.
Improve the in dash stereo to play MP3's/SatNav
Increase the wheel arch size to allow 17" to be the alloy size as standard.
Bigger engine, I dunno 2.4 maybe.... ;)

Ooops my bad.

Re: Re: Imagine Your The Designer!!! (Bit of Fun)

it would have to have the Cummins 393bhp 5.9L Salt Quake engine with Holset turbo.

I work for Cummins/Holset so am a little biased i guess. This pickup (Project Sdewinder) holds the record for the fastest pickup @ 222mph.

Re: Re: Re: Imagine Your The Designer!!! (Bit of Fun)

a cup holder !!!!!!!! that is actually within reach of you when you are driving !!!

the stupid cig lighter is moved to the right or left to allow a larger ash tray rather then 2 small ones, i usually put my car park pass in the ashtray i cant even fit that in there !

larger glovebox, dunno about u lot but i manage some sunglasses, 5 cd's and a tin of de-icer !

figure hugging seats as standard, more alu on the dash, a rev counter for the 1.4s !!!!!!!!!!!!!

other tyhen that and tom's suggestion of the alfa 147GTA engine dumped into it i would say the bravo is pretty much perfect :)

why mess with something so beautiful :)

hmmmm...

How about letting a qualified electrician oversee the electrics?

Re: hmmmm...

THE REAR WINDOWS SHOULD OPEN LIKE ON MY PANDA....LOL

Re: Re: hmmmm...

lol - nice one TAFI! i was gonna say that all the little squeaks and rattles and quirky bits should be sorted out foe a bravo mk3 but then it would lose all its character!

Re: Re: Re: Re: hmmmm...

put the drivers seat in the middle, like on the F1.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: hmmmm...

a nice big turbo, an extra grear or 2 and a free rachael stevens with every prchase, I#d buy that for a dollar!

Lucky!

Japanese engineering, engine, cycle parts and electrics. Honda ideally.

Re: Re: Imagine Your The Designer!!! (Bit of Fun)

Single seat at the front (Mclaren F1 style)

Rip out the back seats.

Formula 1 engine (mid mounted) + 4WD + 4WS

Stupidly wide tyres (to keep it all on the floor)

Re: Re: Imagine Your The Designer!!! (Bit of Fun)

I notice you didn't wish for Japanese styling, very wise as it may end up looking like the Almera, a pale imitation of european flair. (Also see NSX for example of this, who wants a super car that never breaks down!? where's the fun in that?)
