Ill fix the f***er again tomoz!!!

Jus as i fort everythin was sorted n nout much cud go wrong except one thing. The f***in gearbox! It decided to explode on me on the way ome 2nite. aparently the diff as poped out or sumin n there a hole in the box. Oil all over the road etc.

Any ideas on prices for a box for a 1.2?
Any 1 sellin one?
etc.

Also, will a 1.4 bravo gearbox fit?

Ah bad news mate.

Im not sure the 1.4 does fit fella. But i think many a punto box does. I think its Andy_SX who is the knowledgable one on this subject.

Perhaps he will have a spare? I would of thought a gearbox would be about 40 quid from a scrappers.

Needs some cosmetic work;
• Need to respray front wing (Colour doesnt match);
• Renew some plastic parts inside the car;
• Could also do with a clean;
• Need a new aerial (Chav stole it);

The 1.2 Fiat Punto box will go in, I can't remember if it's the 8v or 16v, but I have one in mine which I got for £50 and fitted for about £100 if I can remember rightly.

Cheers lads. Yeh its the punto Mk2 1.2 gearbox that goes in i think. So we thinkin about the 50 quid mark for a box. Not as bad as i fort. Dus it matter if its the 8v or 16v dus any 1 know? Need to get her bac on the road.

Whats the opinion on the 6gear punto box in the bravo? Worth spendin the extra? Can it take more hammer?

I might have got lucky with that price, try searching around scrapyards because some places wanted about 4 times that price, the good news was the 1.2 Punto was a lot more popular than the 1.2 Bravo!

You have to love the 1.2 Bravo box eh?
