ICV or MAF?

On start up the car seems to struggle a little before settling, could this be the ICV or MAF or both? If so how are these cleaned? Cheers!

P.s. This forum seems to be very quiet these days!

The 1.2 is MAF free, you have MAP - If its only happening when cold, it may be the ICV but also the plugs. When did you change them ?

Only just got the car so no idea when they were changed. I'll get them done soon and take a look at the ICV. Cheers.

Hi guys, this problem hasn't been solved as yet (not found an ICV used yet) but I was just wondering if poor idling can affect the emissions? My CO failed on idle but HC passed, on fast idle both failed.

I've looked into ways of curing this and the general consensus seems to be either temp sensor, lambda and/or a good service and blast it before the test.

Any suggestions?

Cheers.

temp sensor? ive heard a lambda sensor can cause it if its old,and some new oil.

Most of the stuff I've been reading is general 'high emissions' advice rather than bravo specific but all cars work in the same manner. I'll just get the oil change (it's running on mineral rather than synthetic haha) and give it a good thrash before hand to kick all the crap out.

Aren't emissions tests free if it keeps failing?

unsure on that one mate, youd have to ask the garage that tested it.
