2.4jtd sale or parts

Hi all,

Firstly I apologise if I am no longer a member Wimmy, I don't know when my membership runs out.

I am just posting to let people know that I will shortly be leaving the Fiat fold due to the fixing cost becoming too much for me and my pregnant wife.

After 2 HGT's and now a Marea Weekend 2.4jtd the time has come to move on

So either it is being sold as seen (running but needs some work) or if anyone needs parts I may just break it.
I don't know how much to ask for so if anyone is interested please make me an offer.

details:
2000 w reg
Burnt orange colour
2.4jtd hlx weekend
170k miles

good points;
engine pulls very well (if a little noisey)
grey leather in pretty good condition (drivers side has some wear)

bad points;
bit of rust in places
pulling to the left on acceleration
boot needs to be slammed to close
Airbag ecu faulty
Tracking is out and the arms need replacing
crease on drivers wing, scuff on wheel and centre cap missing.

In the past few years of ownership i have had;
Cambelt done
clutch done
new maf
new wishbones
new brake pads
new tyres (slightly worn at front due to tracking)
both sills plated and welded
rear shocks and springs done
new sump plug after i rounded one while doing the oil change
battery replaced
new window motor
new ariel
stereo enclosure (the smooth one)
wing mirror base plates
glow plugs
roll bar bushes
and the airbag warning light has been... ahem... fixed (to the abs light) for the mot.


Any offers for the veichle is welcome, or if you are after a part let me know and if I get enough interest I will break it.

MOT runs out this next sunday (16th september) and tax is out end of october.

Hi Kee,

I'm giving it a week to see if anyone wants it 'as is' after that I'm going to remove the doors, bumper, stereo, facia, interior and maybe parts of the engine I can get too (don't have a engine lift).

I will let you know if I get it done

Hiya,

Just thought I would let you know she has been sold complete

To be honest I would have felt sad breaking her but she is off to a good home. A nice gent from Gloucester took her off my hands and said she is going to be a project car, rebuild the engine from the bottom up and give it a bit of a boost while he's at it.

I'm so glad shes gone to a good home and will be looked after.

I still have the dog guard for sale from it though
