As we appear to be first home, may I therefore be the first to thank Wimmy for organising the BOO Xmas bash - a smashing job and a great idea with the cards to remind people what they had ordered!

A great turnout by everyone too, good to see some new faces, some old faces and Ozric-Al was there too.

Brilliant, here to 2005!

Was a Cracking day out, grub wasn't bad either, even though I was feeling considerably hung-over :)

Finally got chance to put peoples faces to their names.

Well done Wimmy

Mike

Thank you - although it was all down to you lot for actually turning up!
Mike - u weren't hungover. Hangever's come when the alcohol has worn off. You were still pissed! lol

just got in. thanks to wimmy for the event. and thanks to ozric al for making look like a nob and then giving me directions when i got lost.

just told the old beans wat u said wimmy. and i was told to go get a proper feed sorted and she will get me a custom stainless pipe made. as i sort of told her that my problem. hehe. ecu reset is a tricky thing as i dunno how to un arm the alarm. but ill give those ago if it dont work when it goes in for next service and cam belt ill have to get fiat to do injectors and the works. HOWEVER it was running nice on the way home cos it was colder. so hoping the feed will sort it.

ta again and thanks to all, nice meeting u all

Smee, can i just say, EH???

I want to die peacefully in my sleep, just like my gran did, and not screaming like her passengers were!

First chance i've had to get online since we got home.
A big THANKYOU to Wimmy for organising todays meet it was a cracker.
Tricia was glad to finally put faces to the names she keeps seeing.
Good to see some new faces and the usual suspects. :)
Cynic-Al once again Thank you for the disc.
And Ozric-Al,Smee,Cynic-Al and lots of others i was half way down the dual carriage way before i realised i hadn't said good bye. (sorry about that)
So i hope everyone got home safely and i'll see you all at the next meet.

@ Nige - that's nice of you to say I haven't got an old face. I've been trying to get lots of sleep lately to avoid that "lived-in" look that you have developed so well. :) Good to see you again mate, especially enjoyed having a look at your DAF JTD. ;)

@ Smee - I didn't make you look like a nob. I don't need to mate. :) Besides, at least you were the "smart dressed man" my friend.

@ Rab, no apologies needed mate. Lots of people going in and out around that time but shame to have missed you.

Other than that it was a top day apart from my inherent shyness getting in the way yet again. I can't understand why I'm always so quiet at these meets just like nakedgav. Just a couple of shy boys I guess, or was it smees homoerotic text messaging that was unnerving me? LOL!

They must put all the shrinking violets on the same table Al to save us the embaresment of trying to converse with outgoing people. Either that or you were simply too overwhelmed with your seemingly never endng choice of salad variants !

You don't need pants for the victory dance

I'd like to just join in saying cheers to Wimmy it was a great Xmas meet/meal.

Me and Kirsty got back for 8pm,
We drove a total of 380 mile,
used approx 45 litres of fuel,
spent 5 hours on the road,
and 3.5 hours at the meet....

But it was worth it.

Cheers to all,

John and Kirsty.

Yeah was a really good laugh.. well I did at the dinner table anyway!

Not to mention Claire from the Fiat Forum kicking me slap bang in the goolies, the day still turned out a good-'un.

I did about 40 miles in total to and from the meet.. The joys of living in the Midlands :)

Yep, thanks very much Wimmy, your system sounded awesome and another very successful meet.

Ian.
