General How to remove engine cover on 100HP

Hi, I am a newish driver trying to learn basic car maintenance to save money. I want to clean or change the engine air filter on my Fiat Panda 100HP. However, I do not know what type of tools and sizes I need to remove the cover in the first place. I was able to change the cabin air filter though. Can anyone help?

Size 10 (mm) socket. 3 or 4 bolts to undo. There is a hose attached with a clamp that is not easy to remove (or you have to replace with a jubileeclip). But you can lay it aside with the hose connected.
But what are you intended to do under the cover?

Oh and 7 mm socket to take the cover apart to change the airfilter. Coils and plugs are another skilllevel I presume.
