How does one remove the internal sill covers on a 2010 1.2 Panda? In the front I’ve removed the cover over the front wheel arch and the screw in the sill cover just in front of the B pillar put no amount of reasonable force is releasing the cover from whatever captive system is used. At one point something snapped and a cylindrical piece of plastic (see image) with a broken edge fell out onto the carpet. What’s the technique to remove the sill cover please?

I changed one on my 05 ( broken sill)

Yes.. screwed at front pillar

2 or 3 spring clips into sill I think

There WILL be images on here.. :)

Jock might know if he still has images from this..

Ive moved house (twice..) since then....

The sill trim covers have lugs with a sort of barrel end that pushes into a slotted clip on the sill. They often break. I put mine back with a few dabs of TigerSeal. Not enough to be permanent (hopefully).

@EstebanR

As Dave says.. that is the 'Barrel Shaped' tip on one of the locating tabs.. that push into slots in the sill of the cars structure

Unfortunately.. when I did mine would be before I joined the forum.. and being @2011/12 not on a smartphone either.. so no images

When you come to do your repair

Please feel free to share some images and information :)
