how to lower? please help Noob to cars

hi i have a bravo which is bog standard at the mo
any ideas of how i can lower it at the mo

it is a 1.2 model

i will be purchasign 16 soon

my mate had 17 and as his tyres were only avaible in low profile..he felt evry bump and was lowered it did look ok...

if i gt 16 how can i lower it?
or can i lower it know with the standard wheels on

how much to do it in total?

please help

a comfortable ride lowered tends to mean a drop of 30mm, i lowered mine by 45mm and the ride didnt bother me but it did bother my g/f.

you can drop 40mm on 17's, I had standard 15's on, after that you want a fully adjustable suspension kit if you want to go lower or have 18's

as keith said.

my 1.2 is lowered around 40mm (probably a bit more with my lard arse in it ) and althugh it feels a lot more "sure" when taking corners it can rattle the sh*t out of you at the best of times...even gives me an upset stomach

4 Fat Friends will lower the car alot. I personaly wouldn't lower the car unless you wish to pay for a proper FK suspension system approx £400. The ride quality on the Bravo isn't the best standard, so lowering it will make it far worse and very hard.
