how to keep cats off your car

I spent quite a few hours cleaning the cinq yesterday , poilsh raceglaze , wax, wheels cleaned , parked up on my drive , and once again the local cat decides it wants to walk over the car AGAIN, it tends to walk over it and sit on the roof then jump off at night time

is there any ways i can get the cat to stop walking on my car? with out resorting getting a trained sniper to sit on the house roof and shoot it

I know this suggestion will dirty the car but have you tried pepper dust. You probably won't have to use it long. I use it to keep cats away from the garden

Yea pretty much. The cat should have a sneezing fit and do it for a few days so it learns not to go there

Try hiding in the car all night until the cat jumps on it and they jump up screaming, scares the cat sh**less. After 2 weeks the cat will not even come in your garden. Alternatively attach a dog to the roof. These may not be the most sensible answers here.

One thing i will say is that startling or scaring it off whilst its sat on your car will lead to engaging its claw like traction control.....
