Hi, i am looking to instal nav+ on my stilo, but i don`t compleatly understand the guide.
So if anyone can help me a little bit.

First the time delay unit, do i still have to do this or can the problem be solved with FiatEcuScan?

For the microphone i just have to buy it, and then connect it to the cable that is already there (at the lights above your head) and then i have to do a little wiring myself from the white connector to the nav+ unit. I think that here i understand everything or is there anything else?

For the GPS/GSM instalation, i have to replace antena, and then get the cabels from antena to the nav+ unit. That i get, but there is another wiring mentionet from the my car panel, i do not understand that part can someone help me?
Is there anything else for GPS/GSM instalation?

Then i have read that nav+ needs another +12V source, (from cigaret lighter) that is not mentioned in the guide, so is this necesary? If yes where do i have to connect +12V on nav+ unit?

And then for the road data, that is seen on the nav+ unit, where does it come from? Do i have to wire another wire? From where to where?

Is ther anything else thetre?

Hope you understand me, english is not my language. :D

1)Flashing milage can be corrected using FES by proxi alignament after you installed CN
2) You need an extra 12v feed because CN won't work without
3) "road wire" I think you are referring to TCM. If yes, then is not important and anyway only few countrys in Europe have TCM (uk, Germany, France etc)
4) GPS Antenna u can find on eBay an universal one And use that. I've used the original one just to keep the OEM look.
5) Mic. I don't know how to connect the mic on the existing wire but what I did, got the mic from donor car complete with the wire And I managed to pull it al the way to the light console.
I hope this help.

Thanks, yes you helped, but i still have some questions.
Where do I connect +12V on nav+ unit?
About road data i was referring about data about consumption, miles traveled, time of traveting,... as i know this is what is also displayed on nav+, do i have to connect any wire for this to work or does it work automaticly?
I already have a GSM/GPS antena, but in the manual it says somethigm that you have to connect a wire from my car panel, to nav+ for navigation and telephone to work.

Is ther a wiring diagram or something like that, so i could see what do i have to wire.
Somethign that says, connect pin x from THIS connector to the pin 10 on nav+ unit. :D:D

1)the 12+ has to be connected in the ISO power connector but I can't remember which pin.
2) info on the nav's display comes automatic via CAN network
3) If the GPS antenna is an aftermarket one I can't tell u how to connect it coz I used the original one.
4) it is a wiring diagram, hit the Sarch button

Little confused, now i found on forum that you do not need the aditional +12V, that it is already there if i have the original radio connected. ( i have original CD radio)

If i look at the guide, Wiring adaptation 1/3
I understand the first part, wher it says how to remove plastic,...
but for what do you have to do this?

Now, you need to insert a pin and wire into the Pin 4 location of the power ISO connector. One way of doing this is to buy the pins from an electronics firm, solder a wire on, and insert into the connector (removing the central yellow bar to allow pin movement), or to buy an ISO extension lead (PC2-36-4) from an Autoleads stockist (e.g. Halfords). That way, you can plug the existing loom in without modifying it at all, and simply cut the wire on the extension. These retail for about £15.

The wire in Pin 4 needs to be the switched output of your time delay circuit. See here for wiring details.

Now continue to the next page without taping anything up or replacing anything.
Is this maybe for fixing the flashing milage problem, that can now be fixed with FES?

I've done this job a few years here so I can't really remember where the extra 12v feed should go. To make sure if your CN needs the extra feed, just plug it in and see if it works. If it doesen't start, then u need that extra feed. GL

what about the part that i quoted? what is this about?

that refers to the 12v feed. i wire that from cig lighter all the way to the back of the radio. i can't tell you which one is pin 4 from top of my head but if u have the picture of that connector you'll figure it out which one it is.
All you need is a wire with a pin from a different ISO connector and extend the wire all the way to the lighter and you have an ignition switch

Ironnike thanks, great help i almolst got everything now :D

What is left that confuses me is this:
STEP 2.3: Installing the GPS/GSM Wires

The first GPS/GSM wiring loom (46760222) goes from the back of the CN+ unit to the junction behind the “My Car” panel. In the previous step (2.2), you would have already had to remove the Body Computer & Fusebox cover trim, as well as the My Car switch control. The instrument cluster should also still be removed.

Now, the best way to do it is to clip the connectors in on the junction mounting (you’ll see the thick black antenna cable already there, and the connectors on the loom are shaped to fit the mount). Feed the cables at the back of the dashboard, and they’ll come out parallel with the dashboard loom. Continue to take it to the radio loom.

The two cables need to be longer than the standard loom, by about 5 inches or so. Once these are in position, start taping all of the loom modifications (power, microphone, GPS/GSM) together, for both security and an original look.
What is this about, something to do with GPS/GSM, but do not have a clue what to do here :D

The info above refers on how to route the antenna wire from the top of the car behind the radio.
Depends now on what antenna are u going to use coz the info above refers in case you're using the OEM CN antenna. If your using an aftermarket one like ebay ones, then you will have to figure it out how to route the wire behind the radio.

Great, thanks (y) i think i got it all now. I thought it refers to wire something from my control panel to radio, but it just says where to put the wire, so you can get it to the antena...
Now i just need to paint my antena to car color and then do the instal :D

Hi guys, need help again :D Doese anybody have a picture of original microphone, where is it fited? I bought a used lamp, from a car that had nav+, but i can`t find a microphone in it. Here are pictures if someone can help me.

There are two connetors, is one of them for microphone, or is it standart for this unit to have two of them?

I took it apart and ther was no sigh of a microphone

Yeah... you should see the rectangle of small holes if it has a microphone, and if it's from a car that was originaly fitted with a CN+.

If the CN+ was retro fitted to the car, the microphone could have been put somewhere else.

Hi, i have another problem, i instaled the nav+ unit in the car, but i have a problem with the CD unit, the CD does not eyect. It will read the CD/mp3, but when i click the button to get the cd out, i hear some noise, but the CD does not come out. On screen it says CD error.
Any idea if i can fix this?

It won't work if mounted under the metal roof. A satellite antenna needs to be in 'line of sight' of the satellites.

You'd need to mount it on top of the roof or on the front, top of the dashboard where it could get reception through the windscreen.
