As title really just need to find out how to change the heating pads on my Hlx as the drivers side doesnt really get warm

Thanks in advance

Remove seat covers, then the sponges. Replace heating pads/elements and refit cushions and covers.

Job done.

Ahh ok sea what you ment by a pad now, i presume its like the heating elements under the floors, i also thought it was just the bum that was heated!

So the back is heated too, need to check the HGT to see, and the volvo, as havent noticed the back getting warm!

well you know what they say, just be thankfull that most of the stuff works!

Also how easy is it to take the seat covers completely off an then get them back on? As mine could do with a dry clean! due to the last owner!

how much are we talkin for these pads, from fiat i presume?

i could do with renewin my drivers side too

arent they like, 60 quid each or something?
too much for me :(

Think the money will have to be spent towards something better, a warmer jacket! Found out the backs of mine are working!

If the passenger one's working you could swap it over!

its a good idea but i`d rather have both workin really, i want to get the car back to what it should be and then play around with it.
I suppose its gonna be £105 from fiat then.

How about a scrap yard? Suppose the'd really want to sell you the whole seat, but you could even get aftermarket ones for that or leathers with heater elements in them?

i`ll do a bit of searchin around and see what i can find, pointless of buying a whole seat tho for the car when your just gonna chuck it away............unless i keep it, i dunno, oh well, i`ll be busy over weekend then.
