General How Much?

If this is how much parts of a mk1 Uno are going for maybe I'd better break mine. The guy is nuts if he thinks he's going to get this much for it, and he wants how much for the postage? You can still buy a complete Uno for the price he's asking :nutter:

I wished I'd removed them from the car I scrapped if that's the value, mind I only paid £30 for the whole car, so could have been in profile with a single cluster

Isn't the cluster common across all Mk1 cars so by adding the word Turbo he reckons it's increased the value 10 fold.

Yes, the switch pod cluster is the same across all the mk1's. The only differences would be that the wiper switch would have two speeds if it were a base model, and three speeds for all models of 'S' spec and upwards.

The light switch pod is identical across all mk1's except that the SX and Turbo models have a switch for the front fog lights. This switch can be transferred to any mk1 switch pod though.

He advertises parts which are cheaper to buy new! these lenses are only 12 quid new from my local motor factor, I've seen him selling other bits which are cheaper to buy new

I like the way the cowboy says how rare every part he sells is, yeah mate there rare aint they! about as rare as a twenty pound note seeing as they can be bought from any motor factor

look out for "rizthejiz" too, standard rear lamp units for £20.....each! christ i had no idea i had about £200 of those sitting on the shelf!
