General How to access / replace a Uno MK2 Heater Motor.

My Brother has a 1993 Fiat Uno 1.1 i.es, which is slowly being repaired after failing it's Mot 3 years ago!

But another job we like to tackle is the none working heater motor, as it never worked since he brought the car. It will only very rarely spring into life for a few minutes then stop?

I'm struggling to find out any info though about tackling the job, so if anyone could give us some advise on how to remove it etc that would be appreciated.

Search 'heater resistor'

Classic panda could be very similar

Basically the fan is supplied with 12 volts

The resistor drops the volts for the speeds on the control dial 3,6+9 volts

However.. it gets HOT and can make the wiring go crispy..
