It'd be a 1.8 by the time its rebored and honed when compression drops

A few jap motors are reported to have done a million miles.

Mums origional Yaris which a friend now owns is nearing 200k miles on its 998cc petrol lump, and still has the origional clutch

I agree with what people are saying about condition over mileage. In the case of a punto I think its when the terminal rust sets in on the chassis that dictates the end of its lifespan. I bet £5 the engine is still fine in that case (8v ofc)

Haha if its an advisory should be fine just get a full set of pads and might aswell do the disks while your there. The bonnet you can pick up a replacement for about £30 in that colour so should be a good little car.

Just read all the mot. All it needs is 2 new number plates £15 off ebay.

Wheels - if i was you i would buy a set of punto alloys with good tyres

Then brakes it says it needs disks because they are showing where so as i said just do disks and brakes

Then once you either get new wheels or tyres just go to eurofit and get a free alignment check as the advisory is just mentioning it.

Also the bonnet release cable is simple enough to do and there are plenty of guides on here

Just for example you could buy these alloys. With tyres and postage and open to offers. Stick these and get it aligned and thats majority of those advisories gone
