i bought paint of that guy on ebay for £10... and its brilliant..
I did 3 coats. did them about 8 months ago, and they still look perfect..

Sand the drum and calipers well.. I used a bit of petrol on a rag to clean them after sanding.. then paint.. easy as that..

Honestly, youd have to be a real tit to mess it up, its thats easy

No petrol it leaves a deposit behind and runs the risk of killing your seals and contaminating you brake pads...... not to mention the fire and environmental risk...

wire brush + brake cleaner then about 4 coats of high heat reisitant paint (about £9) lasted on civic fine

i've seen people try to paint through spokes, they're either retarded or lazy or both

dude just make sure you take the wheels off as suggested.. Its takes about 5 minutes longer, but sure as hell beats cleaning paint off your rims

lol agree'd...the paint doesn't come off the rims easily...my mate tried painting through the wheels and it was an EPIC FAIL...had half red half grey callipers lmfao

still better my mate did his corsa on a cool damp day rather than taking my advice about lots of thin coats and a blow heater to take teh chill off he blathered the calipers and drums with LOADS of paint then refitted the wheels..

next morning he went out in the car the paint was that thick it hadn't dried and had red paint all over his rear alloys as it had being flung off by centrifugal force
