How do i stop the websites i've been on coming up when i start typing in the address bar, and how do i get rid of saved words like in the google search bar? thanks

Seb

In your browser window go to tools - internet options. there should be a section called temp internet files, just press all the buttons lol

Getting rid of those she-male sites???

Na, just random non work related stuff i've done at work :) so yes, she-male sites :)

I'd suggest you do that but also download this software, it's called C-cleaner (crap cleaner), it basically removes all the temp files on the computer and loads of other unecessary stuff. I use it quite often as it helps ye comp to run a bit quicker too.

My Proxy Servers log all internet traffic to all-sites which nobody can delete :)

Mine most likely will too, but i havnt been on any bad like porn, just checking out sti's i might have on google and stuff, and going on this site lol

Where have you been getting Sexually Transmitted Infections from Seb?

Not sheep again?

ace utilities is a good software,

the tools, net options etc will only clean ur pc NOT your work server

or you could go into cmd and run your flush dns,

i believe that clears what your work can hold on you also making your sti searches etc untraceable.

dont quote me on it tho lol

DERV POWER OOOO YEAH!!!

Ipconfig /flushdns clears your DNS cache stored within your computer. Nothing more.

When your computer requests "www.google.co.uk" Google's server responds with an IP address (According to DNS) and a TTL (Time to Live value).

The TTL means that "This is how long" that "This IP address" will last in your current local DNS cache.

To view your local DNS chache, type: Ipconfig /displaydns

Don't get all technical if you don't know what you're on about :)

tools > internet options > privacy > look for autocomplete somewhere in the buttons,

that will get rid of google guessing the previous sites u have been on

ccleaner will also work bu this is quicker to do.

guys that all he asked for.not one bit helepd above

@ian -- i kno alot of companies do that , there is bypassable software which doesnt need to be downoloaded. lol
i wont tell you about it.

lol, cheers anon, straight to the point, but the rest helped too :)

to remove an item from the autocomplete bar without clearing the stuff you want to keep, just hover over the offending site and hit the delete key on your keyboard.

Anon?

If you're referring to Open/Public Proxy Servers then you are talking rubbish again.

Let me tell you something... there isn't very much I don't know about the networking and Internet aspects of a computer. I understand DNS, I understand DHCP, I understand what LMHOSTS are, I understand how routing tables and packets work.

Please enlighten me how my clients at would can bypass the server, as I'm eager to find out.

Of course, if it actually exists.

i rather not discuss on an open forum..
put it this way..its been done and it wil be done again..

I thought the only way you could remove that sort of information from the server was to remove it by going on to the server computer itself or use a remote access link to the server computer??

Not sure though, as unlike Ian I know sod all about networking haha, but if it's anything like my company I work for they never do them sort of checks.

Although I'm sure it doesn't exist.
