How much is a track rod end? how easy are they to fit? my wheel wobble's on the passenger side when i grab it with my hands and pull it left to right.

One of the easiest things to fit. You will need a joint splitter although it is possible to remove the old one without the tool..Begin by marking the track rod and locknut with a spot of paint before removal, Spray wd-40 on the thread.Remove the bottom nut, use the splitter to break the seal, slacken the locknut, then hold the track-rod while unscrewing the old trackrod end. Count the number of turns it takes to remove it. screw on the new track-rod end the same amount of turns. tighten the locknut. the paint marks should align.wipe clean the taper on the TRE and the aperture and tighten the nut. Job done, have tracking checked.

Sorry got no pics but any haynes manual for most trackrod end replacement will give you all the info and pics you will need, It is the rod that goes to the steering rack

it is an easy job i am no mechanic and i was told mine was gone, i went my local parts dealer an got 1. took my wheel off found that same part an took it off . put new one on
it took me bout 1 hour but i managed ..
once you do it take it to be tracked

Robin, as Axle said if you have a haynes for any car you can see the basics easily enough! it is a simple job and locating the track rod is easy, its the only bit of 'bar' there, the other bits as you know will be the wishbone, arb and hub... nice and easy fella
