I've had my bravo 1.8 hlx nearly a year now and i've never had my standard factory fit alarm working since i purchased it. I was wondering a year later about getting it working again.
Before i bought the car i did all the usual checks of the car and found that the button on the keyfob only operated the central locking but the alarm didnt work full stop. There was no flashing of indicators, beep, nothing. The guy discounted the price of the car and so i left the showroom abit happy but still without the alarm working. I've got a small key to disable the alarm and i've tried turning that and alarming the car with the key fob, but i get nothing still just the central locking opening and closing. I know the car has an alarm due to the key fob having a button on it, there are sensors on the centre light console and theres a small led in the middle of the dash.
The keys dont need programing because they work fine for central locking and switching off the immobiliser.
I really hope one of you could help me solve this problem, could it be fuse related or something. Do anyone know where the fuses may be etc.
I know alittle around the car so any help would be grateful.
Thanks for your time to read this.

p.s I dont wanna buy a new alarm for the car, since i've got a big disclok over the steering wheel, which either way deters thieves.
