hit and run!

over the weekend, some b*gger hit/dented/scratched my Punto and drove off, I only found out this morning.it was parked in parking bays on a residential street.

there's no note/witness/cctv around...
what are my options?

TBH I can't think of anything you can do................there's no evidence of the damage occurring

TBH I think this is gonna have to come out of your own pocket, which is unfair.

I had a similar experience last year, and ended up claiming on my insurance as it was pretty bad for a "small scrape". There's nothing you can really do as you have no leads for investigation.

1. Claim on your insurance
2. Pay for it yourself
3. Don't bother getting it repaired

The chances of you finding someone else to claim off are virtually zero.

dunno what constitutes a small scrape, but here it is!
'fortunately' the scrape marks are the other car's paint rather than scratches into mine.

Thats nothing, judging by the picture!Take the interior side panel off and push it out then t-cut if its the other cars paint. Jobs a gudn!
