High running temp

Please help, I have a Bravo 1.6sx on an X-plate, the problem is that my temp gauge reads slightly above the half way mark this is even after short journey, is this normal on the Bravo's .......

I have the same issue too on a 1.2. Brought it back to the dealer a while ago and they connected it up to the diagnostic machine. They reckon everything is ok with it. Sometimes it sit's at normal but mostly it's just above.

My P reg 1.6 runs about 2 segments below half way on open road and 1 segment above in traffic.

I think its normal and it does heat up very quickly.

Its perfectly normal it will go slightly above when for instance, sitting in traffic as no air flow to cool the rad down
You will have something to worry about IF the needle goes to the max
