Hello

My name is Jon and I live in Glasgow. I have a 62 plate 1.2 Fiat Panda which, to my surprise, I really enjoy.

Went for MOT yesterday and failed. Worn bushes on rear shocks. Easy enough, I'll order shocks and replace them myself. Any recommendations on where to buy them online?

Main issue (for me). Headlights wont turn off. When I turn the key to either ignition or on position, the headlights come on along with the daytime running lights even if I turn the lights to "0" on the stalk. I know the stalk works as, when the car is off, the stock will allow me to switch between DRL's off (position 0) and on (position 1).

I'll be honest, I don't know where to start with trying to sort this.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Jon

Hi Jon.

Modern switches dont just make / break power.. they run in conjunction with a body module..computer.

Could be switch..wiring..or the body computer.

I would check function against another panda..
Then look at interrogating the computer side.

There was a dealer recall for a headlight issue which a software update is needed.
