Hello and welcome Mkey,

Nice choice, looks in good nick.

Exterior

I'd get clear side repeters get those nasty orange ones off. also get clear indicators again get the nasty orange ones off (y)

I like the alloys

Interior

Get a CD Player (if it hasnt got one already) the tape player is a NIGHTMARE!
and get the speakers upgraded im doing this just now. No 6x9's (we're an anti 6x9 forum! :p) all you need is a sub in the back and decent speakers in the front. Maybe 5" - 6.5" components in the front which should be amped. Also you need speaker pods for the front speakers - I have yet to find some! :bang:

Any more pics to show the whole car??

:bang: O u are a funny fella lmao!!!! u got anything usefull to add??

well, it depends on what your looking for?

factory modified?, lairy bodykits? rally slag-esq?

tell us what your looking for and we can suggest :D

personally, id go subtle, body color bumpers, abarth side skirts, small spoiler, tint part of the rear lights a bit, plus the windows, and some stilo 5 spokes

but you might not like that

Im not too keen on the alloys, they came with the car, would prefer some wider ones and was thinking of gettin black ones. What i really want is the car to have very smooth lines, so im looking for a very subtle bodykit, non of the japanese crap lol. Would like to have the car lowered, any recommendations of how low? Will put some more photos up later on in the week, its in the garage at the moment. What else.... i really want the whole car to be as black as i can get it, so im looking to replace the rear lights with black ones but havent got a clue where to look, dark window tints. Can you get black side repeaters? And how can i take the stupid looking plastic things off the side of the car????:bang: .... and also the badges?? Wot do ya think???

side rubstrips come off, but on some punto's they are held on with "sikaflex" which is a pain to get off and most likely you will end up taking paint with it (not good)

you can get tint spray from halfords and tint lights/ indicators quite cheaply (make sure to get lacquer and T-Cut aswell to make them shiny)

By far the best thing you can do is get rid of the unpainted bumper, and stick a widemouth one on, a'la:

Then you know you want white wheels! :D

Just as I was about to lower it thus finishing the exterior I threw it all away.....drive it carefully.

Edit:

By the way, don't even attempt taking the rubstrips off if you have sikaflex under there, this is what happens if you do:

Honestly? I think you should drive it as standard for a while....although that sounds crap.
I'd say you'd be better off driving it as standard while the insurance is high then adding mods as the insurance starts to drop.
At the very least get a bit of driving experience under your belt...the last thing you want to do is modify a car a week before you write it off.

My first car ws a proton with a custom fitted vauxhall nova bodykit. 6 days after the kit was fitted I was t-boned and the car was written off. Despite the fact I had decalred the bodykit the insurers refused to pay out for it...I received a check for the princely sum of £130.

I REALLY would advise keeping the mods to a minimum until you have a bit more driving experince. Stats show that ppl are more likely to have a smash in the first fews months of passing...I'd recommend that any mods you do for now are subtle...and of the 'can be removed and used in another car' kind....i.e. sound system, interior mods e.g. gearknob, gaiters, sterring wheel etc.

Yeah start with interior mods. If the police see a young kid driving round in a car that is modded too much they will pull you, repeatedly. I don't see the point in being over exuberant(sp?) with the exterior. Decent set of alloys, clear indicators and side repeaters and painted bumpers, thats about it really, lower it in a year perhaps, not straight away and then maybe think about blacking out your rear lights. Don't bother with window tints, most people go for 100% rear and rear side windows and slight tints in front side windows with clear windscreen. Just buy a van its quicker.

Very Good Advice!!!! Would Follow im only 18 myself!!! Ordered lots of stuff for my Punto 60 SX but 21 days after passing my test drove the car of the road because of ice trashing the front end! Now carless for a minimum of 3 weeks!!! Went home and cancelled all the parts i ordered! lol! So from 1 young person 2 another i would also reccommend a months minimum stock driving!! Will pay off!!(y)
