Hey you lot up North!

Hey you lot up North!

We had a 10 minute spell at work yesterday where the wind picked up, it started raining sideways and it went really dark.

Looking out the window on the dry side of the building, it looked like someone was stood around the corner with a pressure washer. Really horrid weather. Probably nastier than when we got the tree branch through the Croma's window.

Been luck here in Moray lots of rain and a bit of wind. My friends in central scotland have lost fences, rooves and allsorts

Was windy down here last night and this morning, still breezy but died down a lot.

Quite like windy weather, used to be all the time when i was a kid so slightly nostalgic about the noise of the tiles lifting and house creaking (y)

Wakefield seems like its been battered
Yeah but it was asking for it.

There seems to have been a lot of fuss about wind turbines burning out or having their blades smashed. It's nothing to worry about as I've spoken to Mrs. Beard and she sends her apologies but says that in fairness it was a particularly vicious Vindaloo and that next time she won't have one after knocking back 11 pints of Guiness.

Mind you, I have to say that there were some pretty queasy looking passengers arriving at Manchester a few days ago. Ha! Serves 'em right for going on holiday when I've got to stay here.

Well its been damn windy here, lost a ridge tile off my roof and 4 normal tiles.. 2 bits of my fence are down too.. Well they aren't technically my fences but they are round my garden..

tbh i drove from York to Nuneaton area and back on Tuesday, seems pretty rough everywhere. Don't worry about us northerners though, we are used to real weather up 'ere ;)
