Been digging through the manuals, but didn’t find a definite answer. Hex key size for manual transmission drain and oil drain? 17 and 22mm is what I saw.

I thought most were around 13mm from memory.

Maybe they're talking overall thread diameter?
12mm hex key for both manual transmission drain and engine oil drain.
But, before removing the drain plug to drain the gear oil, it's always a good
idea to first make sure you can actually remove the filler/level plug...
Man. trans. filler/level plug needs a 17mm wrench and is a steel plug situated
on the right hand side of the trans. casing just above the exhaust pipe - there's
not a lot of space to access the filler plug - I'd suggest you shield the exhaust
pipe with some plastic sheet or similar to make any clean-up needed, easier.
