Morning all ! Could someone please identify this isolator. I found it under the 500 yesterday afternoon & I haven't a clue where it's come from.

Looks to me like something that would go round a coolant pipe in the engine bay somewhere to combat rubbing of some description. Things like that often become dislodged or not refitted correctly when work is done. Looking at the picture it’s broken so it could just have degraded over time and fell off. I wouldn’t personally be too worried.

There are lots on electrical wiring sheathing ends. Trouble is not all have an isolator end so its will be a hunt to find where it came from. Try fuse boxes first?
