I have just bought a 1998 Punto S 60, she is my first car and is Turquoise (or mucus, depending on who you ask). In the past I've just washed my parents cars and not been too bothered, but seeing as its now my bodywork I'd like any advice at all on how to care for it!

We've used T-cut polishes with the chipstick in the past, but I cant seem to find one that would match my car. Anyone know of one that'll match well? I also live in the arse end of nowhere so she's going to need washing regularly, does more washes do more damage?

I also have some scratches some that are deep and some that are DEEP, if that makes sense, whats the best way to protect/fill them? So far theres not a spec of rust on her, I'd like to keep it that way.

Thanks, Alex

I have a few bad scratches and one right down to the metal. Car has also been keyed, the B%s(*rds!!

Have a look at my photos in the gallery.

Would you recommend this product to anyone?
Have you used it? if so, how have you found it and does it work?

wont spray and shine hide it ;) :p

I haven't used the exact kit (could have sworn i typed this before must have forgotten submit it) but have used the aerosol repair kit on a Red car before and it was a perfect match one thing to make sure is that you take your time and dont rush can see a problem getting a totally invisible repair if its metallic as it all depends on how the flake is laid down (as in the direction its sprayed) but if you can't afford a body shop why not give it a go you can't make it any worse
