Help!!!!!!! Urgent help needed

Hi guys, I was having problems with my car, when starting from cold, it was shuddering and slow on pick up, mis-firing ect and so I decided to give it a good service. I have put on new plugs, new plug leads, new oil and new oil filter, but the problem is still there. The only thing I havent changed is the fuel filter, and thats because I cant find the sodding thing!!!! Its an S reg 1.6 BRAVA I have managed to trace the fuel line most of the wat around the engine, but it dissapears now and again, so any pointers as to where it is, would be most helpfull

Put redx injector cleaner in the fuel tank for the next few fill ups cured mine!

its on offer in tescos at the moment think about £2.60ish

It does a little, all of the above new stuff has helped a lot, but its still there

What milage? What make plugs and leads did you fit? Whats the MPG like?

about 50,000 miles, fitted bosch plugs, cant think of the mpg of hand, normally just fill up as and when. My friendly mechanic suggested maybe being a bit harder on the revs, I normally change up fairly early, but he reckons if I rev it up more, will help keep things cleaner. My normal daily work trip is about 25 miles each way, going to work its first 7 on the motorway, then city traffic

its runs ok, accelerates ok etc?

running better than before, but still seems so on accelerating, before the shuddering was rocking me in my seat!!!!

Air filter?

changed that as well. so far I have done plugs, leads, oil, oil filter and air filter, couldnt find fuel filter which was my last thought, but as I say, its running slighly better

If it was fuel filter then what you'd done would make no difference.

Check the connection to the coil pack (ie unplug, check not corroded and replug) and if you have a haynes manual and a multimeter perform the checks it suggests to check if the coilpack is OK.
