General HELP think my turbo has gone

Driving home from work to day in the rain and suddenly lost a massive amount of power.the car will go up the revs but a lot slower than normal and she stills drives but she ent got no power at all :bang:

I think the turbo has gone any help would be great

Id check the EGR valve,

The turbo is likely to cause more than just a lack of power. Can you hear it boosting?

Your turbo isnt at fault.

Have you got the engine fault light on?

Probably EGR, have a search on here, and theres a guide on how to clear it out

ai. EGR mate, the cleaning out may help, but if its knackered then it may need to be replaced.

Sounds like the EGR mate !. Had the same the problem, but i had my EGR replaced at my local fiat dealer last week. Massive improvement now its been fixed. The engine light should come on sooner or later though. I drove my car around for 4 weeks whilst awaiting repairs.

tried starting the car today and it starts but just conks out and the accelerator is light

Got the car back today and the problem was the maf sensor in the gsr induction went mad.
the car works with the air flow sensor disconnected but when its connected its gose in to limp mod.
didnt chris uk have this problem i think

Before the EGR valve id check all the pipe work... make sure one hasnt riggled off or got a split in the pipe... Because a sheer drop in power wouldnt be the valve it would gradually build up if it was... just my opinion though...

works fine now mate just gotta get a new induction so the maf gets a proper seal, gonna get a custom one made same shape as the gsr i think.

Sorry to hear bout problems with induction, can remember kris having these problems too

Tell peter whats happened he might be able to sort it. Same happened with kris's car.
