Technical Help Sourcing a part please - Urgent

Hi, i need to urgently source a part for my wifes car (62 Plate 500) to get her back on the road. I'm told it is part number: 77364675 and while on the phonr to fiat it's genuine only at a cost of nearly £500! Part 2 in the diagram below. I'vejust replaced both bottom arms, track rod ends and discs with pads and the bolt assembly that's part of the carrier has perished / siezed causing the pads to be in constant contact with the disc and even after a short drive there is smoke from that side and the wheel is red hot to the touch.

Does anyone have a source for these that is maybe a pattern part or am i looking at a breaker?

Part 2 is fixed (bolts) to thehub. It has 2 pins screwed in which part 1 is free to slide on to centralise the pads or caliper. The caliper /pads must be able to self centre. But also the piston compresses the pads by shoving against the caliper which hooks over the opposite pad pullingthat on to the other side of the disc. Hence the freedom to slide on the pins. The piston has a seal hard rubber band around it as you release the brake pedal pressure the piston slightly rocks back into the bore. WHEN the CORROSiON due to water in the fluid and past the dust shield builds up behind the seal it jams up the piston from releasing.

Take off the caliper + pads press thepedal and out comes the
Piston clean up the bore the piston groove use 1000 grade or higher wet n dry abrasive.reassemble change fluid. Want new seal and dust seal ? Measure the piston diameter ..ebay/autodoc. Put full pressure on pedal n make sure no leaks when done!
Should be loads on ebay

Sorry if I wasn’t clear but the piston and the
Caliper seem to be fine and are all moving freely. It’s the sliders that are corroded and welded themselves to the carrier.

I might try removing the carrier and if I can free the slider I’ll clean the guides up and replace the slider kit. The carrier itself has no moving parts adding to the annoyance.

My thoughts start above take off the caliper .. l assume then that only 1 pad dragging?

Just an update / closure. I got a part from a breakers (Sherburn Motor Spares) who identified the bit i needed no problem and it was with me in 2 days. £40 delivered and at a tenth of the price of new it was worth a punt.

When we took the old one off, well i say that we took it off it took a LOT of heat, some hammerage, swearing and a bit of praying to the gods of rust we discovered that the outgoing bit was actually bent. Not by a huge amount but enough to stop the slider travelling freely.

Anyway, back together, back on the road and all said and done, £100 including the labour from my mechanic. I'd call that a win!
