Hi Everyone
Help please, i have a Fiat Punto 1.2 8v 05 plate.
It hunts from 800 rpm to 400 rpm occasionally, it also does not have the power it should have when accelerating, you can hear a missfire from exhaust. I have taken it to Fiat who did diagnostic checks nothing showed up on the ECU, and typically the car behaved while they had it, all they did was clean crank sensor. I took it to another garage which said coils, plugs and ht leads needed changing had that done problem pursists. Another garage changed upstream lambda sensor and just last week was promised the fault was throttle body and map sensor both changed for nearly £900 and then today the car starts hunting again . Has anyone any other ideas what could be causing this ? its costing me a fortune, the car has only done 30,000 miles
