Hi there,
I have a Fiat Punto 2004 (5 Door), I purchased a pair of blue LED type lights for my car, NOT the light bulbs for the main headlights, the small ones on the side that turn on when you switch on the Main headlights. After I put the blue ones and turned on the lights, a light error appeared on my dashboard as though one of my lights was off, is this because it’s not an original light bulb. The problem is I can’t find the original light bulbs that I took off. If I go into any ordinary car shop and purchase a set of normal light bulbs for the car and remove the blue ones, will the light error on my dashboard get off?? Do I need to buy it from an authorised fiat dealer??
Thnx

Regards
Nigel

Hi,

You will probably need to add a resistor to use those bulbs, the system thinks the bulb has blown due to the LED bulb using so little electricity.

So option A is to fit normal bulbs, option B is to fit a resistor per LED bulb.

Normal bulbs should fix the problem,

You should be able to get them from any motor factor, or possibly garage, you should not need to go to the fiat main dealer.
