Reverse switch itself(front of box,there was a cable tie around the switch securing the wires,had to cut this off & look at wiring.was only a 'pinhole' size bit of wire insulation that had wore off but enough to short it out!

i unplugged it, and there was copper showing. so i taped it all up and plugged it back in.
then on the way to work it popped the fuse again. so i fitted a new one. it popped that 2mins later and then was fine for a while. then later on it popped it again, new one, then again 45 seconds later, fitted a new one and its been fine since.
Ive moved the main ICE earth off the fuel pump cover bolt to under the seat. See how that does.
Car is off to be MOT'd tomorrow :s

Arc, you think this happened as a result of the mount going?

i'm not sure. ive not found any damaged wires in the area to suggest that. Its not blown since relocating the main ICE earth.
