HELP I CANT GET MY BONNET TO POP OPEN

Can someone please help me. I went to fill my window washers up today and when I pulled the catch under the steering wheel and the bloody bonnet never popped now its STUCK.

I have tried to push the bonnet down again to pop it again but im having no joy.

The release lever under the wheel is now loose and I have no clue what to do

By The way forgot to mention my car is a Fiat brava 1.2 feb 2001

typical bravo problem

you have to jack the car up get right underneath and put ur hand up benind the front bumper and pull where the release cable attaches

before you do that stick your head in the drivers footwell and check the cable hasnt come off the release

just pull your leaver like you normally would, then gan to the front of the car and whack the bonnet with both hands where the catch is and it should pop, probz just the catch has seized

Tried to give it a whack but no joy looks like i will have to get my back dirty tomorrow

get someone to press down on the bonnet while you pull on the lever,if cable has'nt come off it should release,if it do'es then teat the release mechanism with plenty of lubricant.
