hi all, recently bought a boost valve, its not FSE its cheaper type with integrated regulator,it looks quite well made and came with a host of fixings,BUT the instructions are scandelous it has 2D diagram which only indicates INPUT & OUTPUT positions. The rest is left to your imiganation unfornately i havent got one.So im hoping some of you clever people can help....

1)Well it has 3 valve/plug things so what is the third one for??

2)Do i need to remove my fuel pressure regulator or can i just simply route hoses to boost valve??(i belive you need to depresurerise fuel system and remove fuel rail if i remove it)

3)Is the pressure regulator in fuel fuel rail on 97/R bravo hlx??

4)Are boost valves meant to fit where pressure regulator is i.e. in the fuel rail

5)How do you depresurise fuel system??

Please can you answer my questions and give me any hints, tips and advice,i would be very grateful!

sorry to sabotage. Although i am unable to help, i'm interested to know what this boost valve is (since not fse) and where its from etc, i have been looking for a while to no avail, come on guys help him and me out, anyone one else got one fitted???

Sorry, not many people are gonna be able to help, as none of us have bothered to fit them.

They are a waste of time and money.

Easy 3 step fitting instructions:

1) place it back in its box
2) take it back to where you got it
3) get your money back

That really made me laugh, but I don't suppose the guy who's bought it is very amused and we shouldn't mock.

im not highly amused guys thought this was supposed 2 be friendly, helpfull forum, but allls im receieving is sarcasm so im gonna ask again does anyone have any usefull information rather than simply taking the ****.If they are sop bad why do they offer money backl if a 10% guarenteed increase isnt achieved, tbh just need some serious help(i know i bought a boost valve lol b4 1 of u not so smart arses take the ****)

Listen Matey, we have offered you the best advice there is. Quite simply, they DO NOT work.

Get your money back.

Yes, as RR says, they do not work, fact. No one is being abusive, so a little less of the verbal from yourself, if you please.

We (and countless other forums I'm sure) get a post just like this, regular as clockwork, and they get the same, factual answers.

These pieces of crap do nothing of any worth to your car or it's performance, in fact, they can probably do damage, so our advice, as you can already tell, is return it and get your money back.

If it was a reputable piece of equipment, they would provide much clearer instructions, and everyone would be using them.

Go ahead and do as you will, but if you don't like what you are hearing, take your verbal elsewhere please.

Thank you :)

Bravo, Bravo (hehe) well said. Im in total agreement with the rest of the guys. With the combined knowledge kicking around on this forum if they were any good we'd know it and be using them but as it stands i dont know anyone with it. In fact in a lot of forums there are stickys saying "dont even bother asking, theyre useless" so it all really
