Yea i went for the nokia 5240 or whatever it is, handy for me as its all rubberised and shoxk proof for when out on me bike.

Not for when im out on a motorbike, thats hopefully going to be the summer, but when im out mountainbiking my last phn took one hell of a beating out on some trails

go up 2 breamar on a mountain biking trip every summer as a leader....
me and my mate take 10 pupils from my old school on an offroad and onroad mountain biking hike...
really good fun....
at present i gota SPECIALIZED HARDROCK A1 COMP FS 2002 MODEL...
lookin at getting a SPECIALIZED ROCKHOPPER b4 the summer for the trip.
go up 2 breamar on a mountain biking trip every summer as a leader....
me and my mate take 10 pupils from my old school on an offroad and onroad mountain biking hike...
really good fun....

not bad, my current gt was a bike i built on the cheap to get me going again as i wrecked my last one, and i needed it cause i used to work at alpine bikes and had to get a bike to go out with the guys i worked with. Ended up buying a road bike too and started doing TT's so i do both now, wanting to build a new decent bike tho with a nice steel frame!

he was one of my old school teachers his best mate works in alpine not sure bout names..
he was a kean mountain bike rider....
used 2 bie alot of stuff out of alpine bikes....
rides a blue vodoo... really nice bike...had a shot of it 1 weekend....
light as hell....
dont really like kirkhill forest....

How long ago he work there? i do remember seeing a voodoo at one point only one i ever saw there. i worked there about 3-4 years ago, still go there for my bike bits.
Kirkhill not that bad if you get to know it, its ok for somewhere thats close to abdn, then you can allways cross the road to the other hill for a blast around there.

yeah vodoo's u dont c many of them...
1 of the best bikes ive ever had a shot of...

Not too sure, if you knew any names of the folk that worked there would prob remember.
Its a case of sprinting across that road, get some speed heading down it to go back to abdn tho! although when drafting the guy infront watch out for stray bits of mud hitting your eye, not good at 40 mph on a busy road with one eye lol

Glentress is south of Edinburgh near Peebles, it was set up by the forestry commision as part of the seven stanes project around the borders, the hardest route (V-Trail) was sponsored by Helly Hansen and its 30k's of pure mtb heaven, prob one of the hardest mtb courses i have done, only for the confident or experienced i would say. They also have a mtb shop and brilliant cafe as well as numerous other routes, would live there if i could!
