What do I do...I've put brake fluid in the oil tank...I'm useless with cars but bro in law is a mechanic, just didnt fancy waking him up at 8am on a saturday morning!

Would car be ok to drive or will it be a drain/refill/filters thing? Haven't turned engine on since putting it in...realised after about 1 large funnels worth!

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum

I wouldn't chance driving the car if you can avoid it.. brake fluid has a tendency to attack certain seals/ gaskets which as you can probably gather will be a bad thing.......

your going to want to do an oil and filter change

what engine has your car got?

Thanks so much for the swift reply!

As for engine...its a 1.2 ermmm that's about it though lol its a 2003 mia punto though, if that helps....blaming the bro in law as he was meant to replace sump cos its porous and said 'just keep the oil topped up' obviously not my fault :)

Again, thanks for the reply, hopefully won't do anything else that I need to post on here for though!
