Hi all

I have a 1.9,diesel sedici which is getting tired.
Propshaft if off currently as ujs have seized.
Mirror falling off and other gripes.
I decided I would change the glow plugs as cold starting wasn't good.
That was tricky but not to bad.
But now it wont start...……
I moved the EGR slightly to access the one glow plug, moved a fuel pipe that went from the rail to the injector. I also moved something which I dont know what it is. fuel comes from the filter to something over by the cambelt, fuel then comes from that into some sort of valve diverter return pressure os something.
When you keyed up originally you could hear the pump run for ages. now all it does is a quick buzz, squirts some fuel and then nothing.
Any ideas?
I reckon it has to be thing that is by the cambelt area.
I unplugged something electrical there and I'm guessing that's my problem.
Some sort of pressure regulator!!

Please help...….

hi,:)
the Sedici was a VERY poor seller in the UK,

look in other sections for info on the same engine, ;)
ePER will also help identify the "mystery gadget?":worship:

Hi All,

I ended up taking of the the fuel pressure regulator and putting it back on and it runs. (After losing a bolt for it) Cold start is still no better, might change the relay next. After that i'm giving up. Not interested in leak back pressure on it injectors.
I will change the car......
