I have just got my 500e, and am loving it. My first electric car and it's a load of fun... So hello all electrical fellows and every one on the forums.....
I have had three fiat, a Punto recently and when I was 17 my first car was a 500 air cooled, so to have another now feels special.

Happy Miles.

We've had ours since last October and yet to see another one on the road so still feels special. Ours is one of a batch that experience some random software gremlins (speedo in kph, etc) so would like to know how you get on. If only to see if they've sorted it out for current models (and therefore will know how to fix mine). Also, I don't know if dealers have caught up with this at PDI yet but cars are factory set with the passenger airbag switched off, so would encourage you to check yours (indicator light is in the headlining beside the rear view mirror).

Made an appearance here!

Got mine mid May. Most, possibly all, of those gremlins seem to have gone but did ship with passenger airbag off which the dealer didn't notice and change. Dealer prep was pretty poor.

Glad yours is fine, mine still persists with wrong units and various other settings such as AEB and Hillhold. Fiat Italy phoned me last week advising of a fix which I'm now booked in for. This is either a clean software install or renewal of some hardware modules that seem to have version conflicts with over the air software updates.

I’ve had my Fiat 500E La Prima since early May and it’s already done 1500KM. So far, no issues at all. Love the car, it’s super fast in the mid range, which makes it perfect for Lanzarote, as we have to do lots of overtaking.

We also have a Mark 8 Golf, and the Fiat’s infotainment is much better, connecting quickly to CarPlay every time either of us gets in, whereas it can be fiddly on the Golf. But driving the Golf feels super smooth and sophisticated when you go from one to the other.
Many of the public chargers here are free to use, but I still haven't hooked up to one - it’s just so convenient to plug it in on the wallbox that came with the car, at home. I have it set to run from midnight to 0800, which is the cheap rate here on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

We both love the little car, although the rear seats are ridiculous - I would have deleted them if I could have, and the boot is borderline for a week’s shopping.

Sorry to hear you've had so many problems. Ours was registered in December and the only problem we've had is a faulty numberplate light (which is LED, so a dealer repair ). When I took it to the dealer, they said the only other one they'd ever seen was for a key reprogram.

Weirdly there seem to be quite a few 500 Es down here (Cornwall) which is particularly strange as we don't have any large towns or cities and there aren't that many EVs altogether. The 43kWh is a surprisingly good choice if you want a small EV to do longer commutes etc as the range is pretty good and it's very composed on the motorway for a car of its size. Have spoken to other owners who seem as happy as I am!
