Hi All
Just wanted to say hello from the Isle of Wight. My wife has just bought herself a second hand 500e la prima which is turning out to be the apple of her eye. I am now third in line after the car and then the dog !
The only problem at the moment is getting the Fiat app to work, any advice please ?
As a car it is brilliant
Thanks

Hi and Welcome 🙂

The cars are very popular,
still not got the range for my needs, but I am keenly watching developments

I am sure the regulars on here will explain the Ins and Outs of the App requirements

On a side note,
is there a FIAT, or Abarth, dealer on the Island nowadays

Hi
Yes there is !
Snows of Newport in Forest road. Also Abarth.
This is where we bought my wife’s car through, it actually came from the Southampton branch just two weeks ago so she is still getting used to it.
I am still trying to get used to being on a forum as well 😁

By the way, you mentioned range, here on the Island my wife does 4 round trips to work a week of 16 miles plus a bit extra at the weekend. So a charge every two weeks
Perfect!

I had my app set up by the dealer's salesman. They have to contact FIAT UK to get you and your car into the database. It's only free for the first 3 years, and after that, I declined to pay the exorbitant charges.

Hi Ian
Thanks for the follow up regarding the app.
Thinking about it I suppose I am not surprised, typical.

I had to contact fiat to get the app setup, had to send them proof of ownership and then they transferred the login to my email address. As for the app I find the remote services (£35) a year or £3.50 a month worth it to be able to see where the car is, remote lock/unlock, schedule climate and charging and see current charge level. All the rest I never used and are way too expensive.
